2. Amendment to By-Laws: No exemptions to the Covenants granted by the Architectural Control Committee are valid until approved by the Board of Directors. Currently, the Architectural Control Committee (ACC), which operates under the direction and control of the Board of Directors, is provided a separate authority as written in the OPPOA Covenants. This motion seeks to ensure that exemptions granted by the OPPOA ACC do not wrongly infringe on the community as a whole.
3. Motion: To allow the board to approve future fiber Internet to be run on private roads in sections 1-5. AT&T contacted the OPPOA Board of Directors for permission to install fiber optic cable under one of the private roads. Instead of seeking permission from the community every single time it is requested, the Board is requesting your vote so that we may approve future requests promptly. As with all utilities, it is the financial responsibility of the company, not the community, to make all repairs required to damaged roadways or property occurring during installation.
